Celebrating International Yoga Day!
Due to an incredibly successful event last year, we are ready and excited to share our love of yoga with you all again! Additional Restorative Class added
Noeline takes a new restorative class on Thursdays at 5.30pm True restorative yoga is a resting yoga practice. I often call it meditation from the body up. We hold a small set of poses on the floor, supported by comfy props that allow the body to relax. When the body is relaxed, this sends a signal to the brain that it's OK to relax, too. This style of hatha yoga was initially popularized in the U.S. in the 1970s by Judith Hanson Lasater, a student of renowned teacher B.K.S.

Dear Yogis and friends, I hope you are all enjoying this lush weather! While Port Douglas is quiet with only a few visitors, yoga classes have been well attended, which makes us all so grateful and happy. Yoga Celebration Lunch
On Sunday 18 Jan we came together to celebrate another wonderful year of yoga and our yoga community. Venue was at the stunning High Falls Restaurant where 35 of us enjoyed a delicious lunch and the cool atmosphere beside the running river in amongst the lush forest. Teachers, Lesley, Tricia, Schell, Noeline and Antonetta were present and many wonderful yogis who have been a part of our yoga community for many years and some just a few years!
